Avalanches or Ice Cream?

Ice cream structure     Now on a lighter note, I read an article about how research on avalanches is aiding the making of better ice cream (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17493226).  It used an x-ray machine like system used to look at ice crystals that cause avalanches to look at ice cream.  They said that a main problem with ice cream was that it melted and froze again during transportation causing frozen and hard parts.  Using the research gathered from this machine, it would be possible to make chewier, more tasty ice cream that isn't hard, and impossible to chew.  This machine helps because they can now look inside the sample of ice cream without destroying the sample.  It could be a breakthrough in ice cream technology.

The author explained to us how ice cream could be researched by using a machine that was for researching avalanches.  They explained how this could improve the ice cream eating life of millions just like me.  They were very upbeat about this topic just like I am stating, "This could also make the dessert icier, hard to scoop, and less pleasurable to eat." which shows his disgust in the current state of ice cream storage.  This research could change lives! (At least my life)

Ice cream is one of the most important foods on the planet and it is important to keep this tasty treat as pleasurable as possible.  Ice cream is very important to me and I am eating it as I type this.  I think that this research would make ice cream the highest quality for it's numerous consumers like me.  We need to improve our ice cream and this research shows us that storing it correctly is the way to do it!
