I've been reading the Alex Rider Series for a while and I started Scorpia Rising today. I borrowed this book from the library and couldn't wait to dig into it. I have already read over 300 pages and this is my first day. It looks like I may need another book by the end of the long weekend. Alex Rider is a teenage spy who turned 16 in this book. He started off as a 14 year old in the first book. He is English and works for the British intelligence agency MI6. Both his Uncle Ian and his father worked as secret agents for MI6 and they are both dead along with his mother. His legal guardian is Jack from America. In this book, a terrorist organization called Scorpia is trying to kill him and steal the Elgin Marbles from the British courtesy of some dying Greek multi-billionaire. It is a compelling book so far and I hope Alex doesn't die.
