To Craig, Nia is perfect. He had always had a crush on her and has been envious of his best friend, Aaron, ever since he started going out with Nia. Then he found out that Nia has problems with depression as well and that Nia is taking anti-depressant drugs as well. I believe that this took a huge load off Craig's back. It showed him that he wasn't alone and that even people that he thought were perfect had their problems too.
I think that this kind of a mini theme in this book. I believe that it shows that no matter how bad things are, there's always someone out there that has it just as bad or worse than you have it. I think that it connects to our lives and how we have to keep fighting through our life. I think that people should think about how bad other people have it when they think about how bad they have it.
This also connects to my view and reflection to a video that I saw that I will post later.
